Sukkah-Palooza: 8 Nights in the Sukkah - A TBS Tradition

Night 3 - Sunday, October 1, 2023: Member Night in the Sukkah
5:00-6:30pm
TBS Members Only: we welcome you to spend time in the Sukkah! We've provided the tables and chairs, and you are welcome to bring your own dinner and drinks. This evening is available to all who would like to spend time in the Sukkah, shake the lulav and etrog, and eat a nice meal with your family in a serene setting.

Night 7 - Thursday, October 5, 2023: Board of Trustees Hosts a Night in the Sukkah
5:00-7:00pm
Join members form the Board of Trustees for a picnic dinner. We've provided the tables and chairs, and you are welcome to bring your own dinner and drinks. This evening is available to all who would like to spend time in the Sukkah, shake the lulav and etrog, and eat a nice meal with your family in a serene setting.

Night 8 - Friday, October 5, 2023: Tot Shabbat & Family Dinner/Outdoor Family Shabbat Service
5:00pm - A special Shabbat for our youngest students ages 0-6 and their families followed by dinner (must be ECC Family to participate in the dinner - details to be provided by Tamara Levin, Director of the Early Childhood Center)
6:00 pm - Outdoor Family Shabbat Service - open to all!

Sh'mini Atzeret - Friday, October 6, 2023

Sh'mini Atzeret & Yizkor Services
10:30am - Combined service with Congregation Shir Ha'ma-alot and Congregation B'nai Tzedek at CBT: 9669 Talbert Ave, Fountain Valley, CA 92708.
Names of those who died from last year to this year at this season from all three congregations will be read.

Simchat Torah - Saturday, October 7, 2023

Simchat Torah Celebration & Service
6:00pm - Flag Decorating
6:30 pm - "Dancing with the Torah" Service
See the Torah unrolled from beginning to end and hear the story of the Torah in 7 minutes as well as hearing the last part of Deuteronomy & first part of Genesis chanted. Dance with abandon as we celebrate the Torah! Joyous music with Cantorial Soloist Bill Shafton & more musical friends.
