From the essence of Torah, the prophets sought to elevate the Divine covenant beyond the virtual praxis of the Priestly class.  The Prophets were those who sought to speak truth to power and to help the Jewish community elevate their lives in connection to the Holy and Blessed One.  From Joshua to Ezekiel, each Prophet carved out their message of hop for the future.
